To provide maintenance, repair, and installation services across both mechanical and basic electrical systems, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant, machinery, and equipment on site. The role has a strong mechanical bias while supporting electrical tasks within competency.
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and electrical systems and equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults and support basic electrical fault-finding and repairs.
Assemble, install, test, and maintain mechanical systems, plant, and equipment.
Assist with electrical work such as motor changes, sensors, and basic wiring where required.
Support breakdown response and emergency repairs to minimise downtime.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.
Work collaboratively with engineering, production, and external contractors as needed.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures and ensure safe working practices at all times.
Accurately complete maintenance records, work reports, and documentation, logging information electronically.
Assist with all ancillary tasks such as housekeeping, and waste disposal etc
Take direction from your manager in terms of additional tasks required to be completed
Be an active member of the team and treat all team members with respect
Carry out all duties in line with standard operating procedures and training in a safe and efficient manner.
