About the Role

Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for keeping production lines running smoothly?
We're looking for a

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

(mechanical bias) to join our experienced engineering team. In this role, you'll be key to ensuring our manufacturing equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably -- minimising downtime and driving continuous improvement across the site.

You'll work on a range of equipment and systems, from temperature controllers and vacuum systems to A.C./D.C. motor controls, dust extraction, and cooling systems.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide proactive maintenance and engineering support across production areas to maximise uptime. Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical faults on a wide range of equipment. Follow and improve planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to optimise performance and extend equipment life. Ensure a

safe working environment

for yourself and others, maintaining compliance with all Health & Safety standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency, and quality. Take part in projects and upgrades as directed by the Engineering Coordinator. Manage and maintain engineering tools, stores, and documentation. Work flexibly to meet production needs and contribute positively to a strong team culture.

What We're Looking For

Multi-skilled engineer with a

mechanical bias

(approx. 70/30 mechanical to electrical). Experience with systems such as

temperature control, vacuum, water/air cooling, dust extraction, and 3-phase power

. Ideally, experience in a

foundry or molten metal environment

, though not essential -- training will be provided for the right candidate. A strong commitment to
