Job Summary

We are seeking a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, PPMs, repairs, and preventative maintenance, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Duties

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime. Respond to production breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner Ensure safe and efficient use and operation of all equipment and machinery Analysis and fault-finding mechanical / electrical breakdowns performing PPMs and repairs methodically and efficiently to the highest standards ensure all respective corrective actions are carried out, documented, and recorded Management of contractors ensuring relevant permit and RAMS are in place Their part in health & Safety compliance record all modifications made to equipment to ensure documentation is accurate at all times Observe and communicate any required improvements on production machinery Carry out basic site maintenance and minor building repairs

Requirements

Proven experience in maintenance engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Skilled in mechanical repair work. Electrical experience including troubleshooting electrical circuits and systems. Mechanical knowledge relevant to industrial machinery maintenance. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Customer service orientation with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.

Working hours

Monday - Thursday 8am - 4pm

Fridays - 8am - 1:30pm

Salary - up to 42,000 depending on experience
