Puffin Produce Ltd is a fast growing vegetable producer based in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. We supply welsh produce to key supermarkets within Wales and have recently invested heavily in an automated processing plant which contains automated conveyor systems, washers, weighing systems, packaging and robotic plant. Our business places great emphasis on delivering an excellent service to our customers and part of achieving this is maintaining a 'best in class' maintenance team.

We are currently looking to increase and develop our existing engineering team in order to continue to provide high level maintenance provision within the Company. The multi-skilled maintenance engineer will be part of our team responsible for planned and preventative maintenance and repair of all production and site systems. In addition they will take a lead role in assisting the Multi skilled engineers (MSE) in planning and prioritising elements of work in order to provide an effective engineering provision.

The successful applicant will have considerable experience in an engineering role whether it be an electrical or mechanical bias and will be required to learn a broader range of skills to the highest standard with a focus on assisting in the improvement of efficiency and reliability. Experience working in a fast moving operational environment, working under pressure with the initiative to work alone when required; whilst also being an integral part of an effective team is essential. A formal qualification in an engineering based subject is essential, in addition to GCSE English and Maths at grade B or above. A good level of IT skills is required as is the ability to communicate effectively to the immediate and wider team.
