About Us:

The Yorkshire Maintenance Company is a trusted commercial maintenance and refurbishment company based in Hull, providing high-quality services across East Yorkshire. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Multi-Skills Operative to join our reactive maintenance team, supporting a variety of urgent and planned maintenance tasks. Some of our work may take place in secure or sensitive environments, so professionalism and reliability are essential.

The Role:

You will respond to reactive maintenance requests across commercial and industrial sites, including minor joinery, plastering, painting, and general repairs. You may occasionally be required to work in secure environments, so discretion, reliability, and a professional attitude are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests. Carry out general building maintenance, repairs, and installations to a high standard. Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally. Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles. Work independently and as part of a team, following instructions from supervisors.

Requirements:

Previous experience in general building maintenance or refurbishment (multi-skills preferred). Valid driving license. Clean criminal record (essential due to potential work in secure environments). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Good communication skills. CSCS card desirable but not essential.
