Building Solutions North East are an independent, property development and construction company based in the heart of Northumberland - we pride ourselves on being professional, prompt, and reliable. Working across commercial, residential, student accommodation, educational and leisure facilities to name a few. We are actively looking for experienced tradesman to join our ever-expanding team working throughout Northumberland and the wider North East Region.
Duties:
- Including but not limited to: Plumbing, Joinery, Tiling, Painting & Decorating and Patch Plastering.
To provide exceptional customer service at all times and provide our customers with a positive experience
- General home repairs in student accommodation, HMO, retail facilities, leisure facilities, Educational sector and privately owned homes.
- Being able to work independently, collecting keys and carrying out property maintenance and repairs.
- Undertake assigned tasks within the maintenance team, having full regard to site licence requirements and regulations.
- Assist in the efficient delivery of maintenance tasks.
- Provide a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance within our property maintenance division.
- working alongside the construction division when required as part of a team or individually to suit the needs of the business
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in general repairs, plumbing, painting, joinery, tiling and patch plastering.
- Drivers licence required and good knowledge and experience in a similar role.
- Experience in ground works would be advantageous.
An enhanced DBS check would be advantageous.

Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
Usual working days Monday - Friday (8:00am - 4:30pm). Weekend availability arranged by prior agreement to suit the needs of business.
Company van can be provided.
