Job Description

We are currently seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team in Essex. As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will work as part of a team carrying out maintenance and improvement works to various commercial and industrial properties in the Tilbury area. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate proven experience working within a construction/maintenance background or similar environment.

Pay negotiable depending on experience and skill set. Typical 8am-4pm working day, although on occasion may be slightly longer or shorter depending on task. Long term work on a self-employed basis. Experience essential, this is not an 'improver' position at this time.
Main responsibilities:

Your duties will include various maintenance and repairs across a multitude of commercial and industrial properties including cladding, roofing, fault finding, fire protection, steelwork, carpentry, decorating, and repairs to guttering etc. Working with other team members to ensure that work is completed to a high standard. Following health, safety and environmental policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will:

Hold a full UK driving license. Hold a valid IPAF certificate (preferred not essential - training can be provided). Hold a valid PASMA certificate (preferred not essential - training can be provided). Completed asbestos awareness, abrasive wheels, and first aid training (preferred not essential - training can be provided). Be self-motivated and able to work to schedules and time scales. Be flexible and able to work as part of an effective team. Must have own van/vehicle and basic hand and battery power tools, any cabled power tools to be 110v only. Have experience of working in a CDM environment with a good understanding of current Health and Safety regulations.

Pay: 180.00-200.00 per day
