Job Description

Working Pattern:

Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. 37.5 hours per week

Main Purpose of the role:

Responsible for assisting towards the completion of projects within the specified timescales and maintaining 100% of scheduled objectives. In addition to performing a wide range of tasks beyond general labour

Responsibilities and Key Duties:

Key duties involve assisting skilled trades, using tools and equipment safely, maintaining site equipment, and performing a variety of construction tasks.

Duties include:

Performing advanced construction tasks: This includes (but is not limited to) the installation of batten and boards, joinery, plastering, and finishing tasks as required Maintain and repair equipment: Take accountability for the safe operation, cleaning, and maintenance of all tools and machinery, reporting any malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors or your Line Manager Ensure site safety and organization: Prepare and clean sites, remove debris, lay dust and debris protection, inform clients and set up safety barriers as needed. Collaborate on project execution: Work closely with supervisors, skilled tradespeople, and other team members to meet project timelines and objectives. Handle material and equipment: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment efficiently. Comply with regulations: Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and project plans. Other duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to support project goals.

Required Skills:

Proven experience in a labourer, plasterer or construction role. Proficiency in operating and maintaining various construction equipment and machinery. Excellent physical stamina, strength, and dexterity. Strong understanding of construction techniques and safety guidelines. Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and address issues on site. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies. High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

Benefits:
