Multi-Skilled Plumber / Builder

We're looking for a full time multi-skilled builder / plumber to join our friendly installation and maintenance team. This role is ideal for someone practical, adaptable, confident and competent, working across different trades.

The job

You'll work as part of a multi-skilled installation and maintenance team, carrying out a range of general construction tasks inc plumbing, tiling, joinery etc to support mobility and access equipment installations and adaptations.

This is not large-scale construction or site work -- it's hands-on, meaningful building and plumbing work in real homes, helping people live more independently.

Daily work may include:

Plumbing and bathroom installs (toilets, sinks, wet rooms - no central heating) Installing and supporting the install of Wet rooms - LAS Specialist toilets Vertical lifts Modular access ramps General multi-skilled building work and property modifications Small construction and maintenance jobs General upkeep of company buildings when required
Working mainly in domestic homes, with some work in care homes and residential settings.

NB : The role is physically demanding, so a good level of fitness is required.

Skills & experience

We're looking for someone multi-skilled with experience in plumbing, building, construction, property maintenance, and installations.

Ideal background includes:

Plumbing (toilets, sinks, bathrooms, wet rooms) Multi-skilled builder experience which may include: Joinery (doors, windows, stud walls) Tiling (wall and floor) Groundworks and concreting Door widening and stair modifications Joist work Paving, slabs, kerbs Basic brickwork / masonry Property maintenance and adaptations
Whilst formal qualifications, particularly in basic plumbing would be very welcome, these may not be essential -- demonstrable experience and attitude matter more.

Hours & location

Monday to Friday 8:30am start 39 hours per week Based from Sheffield S13 Head Office or straight to site Local / regional work only -- no national travel
