Oakley TFM Ltd is excited to announce that, following recent expansion and our relocation to a new state-of-the-art facility in Aldermaston, we are seeking to further strengthen our team. We are now inviting applications for a dedicated and experienced Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join us at our site near Basingstoke. The Role: Multi-Skilled Tradesperson

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Basingstoke, with daily operations focused at our Aldermaston facility.

Main Responsibilities

General property and building maintenance across our sites

Completion of repairs, installations, and project work as required

Carpentry, including fitting, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures and fixtures

Plumbing: installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures

Electrical work: including fault finding, repairs, and minor installations

Diagnosing and troubleshooting building and equipment issues

Ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards

Maintaining compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Keeping the work environment clean, orderly, and hazard-free

Collaborating with colleagues and other trades as necessary

Managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, prioritising workload as needed

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a self-motivated, skilled tradesperson who enjoys variety in their work and prides themselves on delivering excellent results. The ideal candidate will possess a wide range of trade skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience in carpentry and general building maintenance

Competence in plumbing and electrical work

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities

Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements

Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills

Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks and projects

Professional and effective communication skills

Relevant trade certifications and/or qualifications

Experience in a similar role is highly desirable

Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic

Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship

Flexibility and adaptability, comfortable handling a range of tasks
