Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Tradesman to join our team, responsible for a variety of construction and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, enabling them to work across multiple disciplines such as carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Duties

Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installation of doors and windows, and cabinetry. Carry out roofing repairs and installations, ensuring structural integrity and weatherproofing. Execute construction painting duties, preparing surfaces and applying finishes as required. Conduct plumbing installations and repairs, including pipe fitting and fixture installations. Engage in masonry work such as bricklaying, stonework, and concrete finishing. Undertake welding tasks for metal fabrication and repairs. Apply electrical experience in installing wiring systems, fixtures, and troubleshooting electrical issues. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Fabricate components as needed for specific projects or repairs. Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.

Experience

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in one or more of the following areas:

Carpentry Roofing Construction painting Plumbing Masonry Electrical work
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques is essential. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure will be highly regarded. Candidates should possess relevant qualifications or certifications in their area of expertise where applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 24,420.00-27,000.00 per year
