Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong carpentry, general decorating and plumbing skills ensuring that installations, repairs, and maintenance are carried out to the highest standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This will be working for a local council contract carrying out reactive maintenance in the Sandwell area.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, including use and understanding of a dedicated app (via smartphone) - training provided Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times Own tools to be provided by candidate Be courteous to tenants and customers

Qualifications

Proven knowledge within carpentry, decorating and plumbing CSCS Card Required Basic understanding and comprehension of the English language (both written & spoken) Ability to use tools effectively and safely Strong attention to detail Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment and with residents This will be fulfilling an ongoing contract in the surrounding areas of Sandwell
