Job Summary

The main responsibilities will include supporting all warehouse activities within the business. Forming part of the wider Operations team & reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role will support the efficient operation of the Galebreaker production team.

Principal Responsibilities

Receiving & checking supplier deliveries & returns

Process, check & load customer shipments ready for dispatch

Maximise warehouse space and support line side replenishment

Ensuring all components are clearly identified and stocks are easily manageable

Carry out inventory stock counts

Following company health & safety procedures

Complying with all quality system requirements

Maintaining good working practices and housekeeping especially in the yard & warehouse

Qualifications and Key Skills

Minimum of three years warehouse experience desirable

Forklift license

Experienced IT user, including ERP & barcode scanners

Organised and reliable individual

Excellent communication skills

Understanding of Lean manufacturing including Visual Management, Kanban and 5S.

Must be a team player
