We are seeking a dynamic and skilled

Construction Multi-Skills Lecturer

to join our team at the Taunton Campus. This role is ideal for an industry professional passionate about developing the next generation of tradespeople. No formal teaching qualifications are required--full training will be provided to equip you with the skills needed to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality practical and theoretical training in multiple construction disciplines, including

painting and decorating, carpentry

, and other relevant trade skills. If you have expertise in wider construction areas such as

plastering, plumbing or bricklaying,

we welcome these skills and can tailor our curriculum to your areas of specialism.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, hands-on training in multi skills disciplines such as

painting and decorating, carpentry, tiling, and other construction trades

Assist in the design and development of course materials, lesson planning, and assessments aligned with City & Guilds requirements. Provide guidance, support, and feedback to students, helping them progress in their learning journey. Maintain a safe and effective learning environment, ensuring adherence to

health and safety regulations

. Collaborate with fellow lecturers and industry professionals to ensure course content remains up to date and reflects modern construction practices. Participate in college-wide initiatives to enhance student engagement and employability.
