Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personalised instruction to our construction students, helping them achieve their academic goals. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with special educational requirements.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to individual student needs. Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects. Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding student performance and areas for improvement. Support students with special educational needs by employing appropriate teaching techniques. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.

Experience

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is highly desirable. Strong background in working with young adults, demonstrating patience and understanding of their unique learning styles. Construction industry and qualifications are required to do this role. Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents alike. A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically.
