Responsibilities

Construct, repair, and maintain structures using various materials and techniques. Perform carpentry tasks including framing, roofing, and installation of fixtures. Carry out construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of buildings. Execute plumbing tasks such as installing pipes, fixtures, and fittings. Engage in masonry work including bricklaying and stone setting. Utilise welding techniques for metal fabrication and repairs. Conduct electrical work as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Fabricate components as required for specific projects. Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety protocols.

Skills

Proficiency in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical experience is highly desirable. Strong ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques in the building trade.
