We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to various building projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Duties

Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures using a variety of materials and techniques Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Perform carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and fitting Carry out roofing work such as installing new roofs or repairing existing ones Conduct construction painting to ensure surfaces are properly finished Install plumbing systems and fixtures as required on site Execute masonry tasks including bricklaying and blockwork Carry out welding and fabrication work to meet project specifications Assist with electrical installations where necessary, following safety protocols Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations throughout all activities

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or related trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, welding, and fabrication processes is desirable Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for daily tasks Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively Good physical fitness to perform manual labour over extended periods Relevant certifications or licences (e.g., CSCS card) are advantageous but not mandatory A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail and safety awareness

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 14.98-19.25 per hour
