Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team, responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures and installations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of building techniques, materials, and safety protocols. This role requires proficiency in using both power and hand tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights. Must Have CSCS Card and DBS.

Responsibilities

Construct frameworks and structures using wood, metal, or other materials Perform painting and finishing tasks to enhance the appearance of buildings Carry out roofing tasks including installation and repairs Execute joinery work with precision to ensure structural integrity Use power tools and hand tools effectively for various building projects Fabricate components as required for specific construction needs Conduct plumbing and electrical installations in compliance with safety standards Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Requirements

Proven experience as a Builder or in a related construction role Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety practices Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding conditions Experience with roofing, joinery, plumbing, and electrical work is advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team Valid driving licence may be required for site travel must have own van and tools Must Have CSCS Card and DBS
