Role Overview

Houghton Group is seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join an established project team delivering planned construction works on a live site in Basildon. The role is hands-on and suited to a reliable, quality-driven tradesperson who can integrate smoothly into a structured site environment.

Key Responsibilities

First and second fix carpentry works Door installations, ironmongery, skirting, architraves and minor joinery Basic multi-trade tasks associated with carpentry works Working to drawings, specifications and site instructions Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health & safety and housekeeping Liaising effectively with site management and other trades

Requirements

Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Carpenter Self-employed status (CIS preferred) Own van and full set of tools Ability to work independently and as part of a project team Strong attention to detail and commitment to programme delivery
Day Rate

180 - 200 per day

, dependent on experience, productivity and scope of works.
