Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and skilled professional to undertake a range of construction, carpentry, and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fabrication, assembly, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects, including kitchen rip out, kitchen fitting, plumbing a sink, tiling, lino laying, painting. The successful applicant will be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and efficient project completion.

Duties

assemble new carcass made kitchen units 8 in total using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment Perform carpentry and joinery tasks with precision and attention to detail Carry out splash back tiling works 3 metres approx Install new floor lino 2 metres approx Apply painting techniques to prepare surfaces for finishing on ceiling and walls 3x3 metre ceiling and approx 5 metres on walls Assist with heavy lifting and material handling across site Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety protocols Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications

Requirements

Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, joinery, plumbing, work is highly desirable Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to construction trades Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction trades are preferred but not essential Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: 600.00-1,500.00 per week
