Job Summary

We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality heating and gas services to commercial customers across the East Midlands area. Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced maintenance joiner / general handyperson to join our maintenance team to carry out general joinery repairs and installation works, also assist in other team, plumbing, electrical activities.

To provide high standard repairs, maintenance and installation works across a portfolio of high-quality clients Undertake a range of joinery tasks including fire door checks and repairs / replacements. Undertake periodic fire door compliance inspections. Carry out general planned and reactive maintenance tasks. On completion of joinery works, carry out general plaster and decoration making good. Assisting plumbers and electrician's where required. Managing maintenance and third-party contractor works to a consistently high standard.

Experience and Skills

Experience in fire door inspections, repairs and installation would be an advantage. Experience in working in a varied environment, offices, student accommodation, factories. Experience in working with other trades, plumbing, electrical would be desirable. Working on own initiative, proactive reporting and knowledge and experience of working with computer based reporting systems. Working at the forefront of the business with daily interaction with our clients facilities teams. Some experience in working with plumbers and electricians would be an advantage.
