Job Overview:

London and Kent Construction, a reputable property maintenance and renovation company, is seeking an experienced Multi-Trader to join our team. The role involves a range of maintenance and minor works tasks across various properties throughout London. The ideal candidate will have a multi-skilled background, a commitment to delivering high-quality work and good communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out various maintenance and repair tasks, including: Carpentry (e.g., doors, windows, skirting boards) Basic plumbing (e.g., fixing leaks, tap replacements) Electrical work (e.g., installing light fittings, replacing sockets) Tiling and plastering (e.g., patch repairs, small re-tiling projects) Painting and decorating (interior and exterior) Attend property inspections to identify necessary repairs and report findings back to the office promptly. Complete all tasks to a high standard, adhering to company guidelines and timelines. Communicate effectively with clients and maintain a professional demeanour. Comply with Health & Safety best practice on site. Accurately record work details, materials used, and hours worked. Collaborate with other team members, and specialist subcontractors when required.

Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in a Multi-Trader or general Maintenance role. Competency in a variety of trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, tiling, plastering, and decorating is highly desirable. Ability to troubleshoot and perform general property maintenance. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction and repair work. Ability to read and interpret technical plans or drawings is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship. Full UK driving licence required (van and tools provided).
