Job Summary

We are seeking a self employed skilled and versatile Tradesperson to join our team for price work jobs. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills across various trades, enabling them to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations in a variety of settings. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Own van and tools required along with smart appearance and polite helpful attitude. All works are carried out in void properties. All materials and job costs provided and paid on a weekly basis. Must be willing to work in Guildford, High Wycombe, Kent, Essex, Cambridgeshire and North and South East London. Own van and tools are a must.

Responsibilities

Carry out all aspects of decorating including, walls, ceilings, gloss work, stain block, mould treatment and stripping wallpaper carry out minor plastering, filling and making good rough surfaces Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks. Execute carpentry duties such as overhauling kitchen units, replacing work tops, doors and window repairs Conduct plumbing tasks including installation and maintenance of taps, toilet pans, cisterns and correcting leaks Undertake high quality site cleans on projects to enhance aesthetics. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion within deadlines.

Skills

Strong knowledge of void works in empty properties. Experience using hand tools such as chisels, saws, and drills. Carpentry skills with the ability to leave a quality finish. Plumbing skills with the ability to confidently problem solve any water based issues. Competence in plumbing tasks including repairs and installations. Ability to paint with precision, ensuring high-quality finishes. Familiarity with power tools such as grinders, drills, and saws is essential. Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal with on site staff.
