Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills in various trades, enabling them to undertake a variety of tasks across construction and maintenance projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installation of doors and windows, and cabinetry work. Undertake plumbing work, including installation and repair of pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
Skills
Proficiency in carpentry techniques with a strong understanding of building codes. Experience in roofing methods and materials with an eye for detail. Knowledge of construction painting processes, including surface preparation and application techniques. Familiarity with plumbing systems and the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Basic electrical knowledge with the capability to perform installations safely. Strong aptitude for using hand tools (saws, drills) and power tools (sanders, grinders). Fabrication skills that demonstrate creativity and problem-solving abilities.
