A Multi Trader (or Multi-Skilled Tradesperson) is responsible for carrying out a wide range of repairs, maintenance, and improvement tasks across residential, commercial, or industrial properties. This role requires versatility across multiple trades, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repair tasks across various trades, such as carpentry, plumbing, painting, tiling, plastering, basic electrical work, and general building repairs.
Diagnose issues, assess required work, and provide accurate estimates for time and materials.
Complete scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks efficiently and safely.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, materials used, and time spent.
Communicate effectively with tenants, clients, or site managers to provide updates and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
Identify opportunities for improvements or additional repairs to maintain the property's condition.
Use and maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles responsibly.
Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in multiple trades (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, painting, plastering, tiling, electrical basics).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Good communication and customer-service abilities.
Ability to read technical drawings or job specifications.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards.
Full driving licence (often required).
Professional certifications in any trade are a plus.
