We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. Duties
Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver products to customers and clients.
Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to meet scheduled deadlines.
Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling.
Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed off as required.
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle at all times.
Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays.
Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all aspects of the role.
Assist in warehouse tasks when not on delivery routes, including stock organisation and inventory checks.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles.
Valid driver's licence suitable for the vehicle type, with a clean driving record.
Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude.
Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.
Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations within the area of operation.
Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality at all times.
