Job Description
Active Office Group based in Kilmarnock, supply office products (such as stationery, ink, toner, paper) and office furniture across Central Scotland. A multi-drop delivery driver in this role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient, timely, and customer-focused distribution of these items. This position typically involves operating company vehicles to make multiple stops per day, covering central Scotland. The role combines physical labour, customer interaction, and logistical planning, with an emphasis on safety and reliability.
Typical Requirements
Licensing and Experience
: Full UK driving license, Clean driving record and at least 1-2 years' experience in multi-drop deliveries.Physical Fitness
: Ability to lift heavy goods, The role is physically demanding, involving stairs, loading bays, and outdoor work in varying weather.Skills and Qualities
: Strong time management for tight schedules, excellent communication for customer interactions, basic IT literacy, and a customer-oriented mindset.Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute efficient multi-drop routes Load/unload vehicles with office supplies and furniture Provide excellent customer service: greet recipients and handle any queries, reporting back to the office Perform basic vehicle checks and report maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to health & safety standards, including manual handling and road compliance.
Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMJob Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
