Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver. This role involves transporting temperature controlled goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent service. This is not a 9-5 postion start times will vary so flexability is required.

If you have passed your driving test before 1997 - we'd especially like to hear from you as we are looking at hiring those with grandfather rights to start on vans and potentially go onto 7.5T - getting your CPC through us.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered during transport. Communicate effectively with the office regarding delivery schedules and any changes.

Experience

Previous experience with temperature controlled deliveries is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. Proven ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with team members and customers alike. A valid driving licence is required.
