McLaughlin & Harvey is one of the leading Building and Civil Engineering Contractors operating throughout the UK and Ireland.We are seeking to recruit an experienced Multimedia Designer with a brilliant portfolio of creative work.As a core member of the design team, you'll drive processes and projects from discovery to delivery, developing content for both internal and external audiences across the group of companies.As Multimedia Designer you will act as a corporate brand guardian, ensuring standards are consistent, and champion flawless execution across both printed and digital media.Responsibilities:

• Delivering exceptional visual design across a range of media, including digital, print and event-based projects.
• Supporting the communication of our multiple brand identities, values and stories through compelling design and visual storytelling.
• Interpreting and evolving our brand and sub-brand identities across all creative executions while staying aligned with established brand guidelines.
• Supporting day-to-day marketing needs, including content creation for social media, presentation design, campaign development, and creative mock-ups.
• Shoot dynamic and attention-grabbing video content, ensuring lighting and sound are fit for purpose.
• Use video editing, motion graphic design and sound design to produce standout creative content.
• Contribute to pre-production planning and shoot on location, ensuring assets captured are fit for purpose.
• Complete post-production for video projects.
• Perform quality assurance on all graphic/video content.

Qualifications:EssentialA bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Video Production, Visual Communication, or a related field.Experience

• Strong proven experience in graphic design, digital content creation, video production and editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc).
• Demonstrable experience in professional photography and video production.
• A2 Cofc or GVC drone qualification would be a plus
• Creative mindset with the ability to bring ideas to life through visual storytelling.
• Exceptional layout & typography skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• A friendly approach with a willingness to collaborate and to develop personally and professionally.
• Adaptable, curious, and passionate about staying on top of design and cultural trends.
