Multi-Site Operations & Property Manager



Location:

Croydon, South West London

Salary:

43,000 - 50,000 per annum (DOE)

Hours:

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00pm (with flexibility for urgent or out-of-hours needs)

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Operations & Property Manager to uphold and enhance the standards of several children's residential homes. This is a varied, multi-site role requiring a blend of property oversight, operational leadership, and practical support for the home managers and staff.

Why This Role?



Directly impact the quality of life and care for children in residential settings. Work across multiple homes, ensuring safe, welcoming, and compliant environments. Collaborate with dedicated staff and external partners to maintain and improve our homes.

Key Responsibilities



Property & Maintenance:



Ensure homes are safe, well-maintained, and compliant with all regulations. Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, conduct regular audits, and manage repairs. Maintain accurate logs and ensure prompt resolution of issues.

Operational Support:



Support home managers with daily operations, staffing, and routines. Conduct site visits to monitor standards, staff presentation, and cleanliness. Promote consistent processes and high-quality care across all sites.

Supplies & Resources:



Monitor and maintain essential stock (cleaning supplies, PPE, care equipment). Ensure all homes are fully equipped and resourced.

Health, Safety & Compliance:



Ensure ongoing compliance with health & safety, CQC, and Ofsted standards. Support audit readiness and drive continuous improvement in care quality.

Team & Contractor Coordination:



Act as the key link between home managers, staff, contractors, and central operations. Build strong relationships with service providers to ensure reliability and quality. Respond to urgent issues, including occasional out-of-hours calls.

What We're Looking For



Experience in property, facilities, or operations management (multi-site preferred). Strong understanding of compliance, maintenance, and health & safety processes. Ability to support and guide home managers, ensuring high care standards. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
