About Our Home
Our therapeutic children's home is a place where healing happens, built on the principles of compassion, consistency, and deep connection. We create an environment where young people can process past trauma, rebuild trust, and develop the emotional resilience they need to thrive.
We care for children with a range of emotional and social needs, including attachment difficulties, anxiety, depression, and challenging behaviours. Many have faced significant adversity, and require patient, relationship-based care to rebuild their sense of self-worth and confidence.
Your Impactful Role
As
Registered Manager
, you'll take the lead in shaping the daily operations of the home, ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards, and embedding a therapeutic, healing environment where young people feel safe, understood, and empowered.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with all Ofsted and regulatory standards
Foster a therapeutic environment where young people can heal, grow, and build lasting trust
Maintain and enhance our relationship-based care model, ensuring high standards of care at all times
Lead, mentor, and inspire your team, providing regular supervision, training, and support for their professional growth
Collaborate closely with families, professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive, holistic care
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain or achieve GOOD/OUTSTANDING Ofsted ratings
Tailor each young person's care plan to ensure it is meaningful, personalized, and focused on long-term success
What We're Looking For:
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management
(or working towards it)
Experience managing or working in an Ofsted-registered children's home, ideally with a GOOD or OUTSTANDING rating
Deep understanding of trauma-informed care, PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy), and therapeutic parenting
Proven leadership skills, with a passion for nurturing and developing staff potential
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, residential childcare regulations, and best practices
A resilient, values-driven leader with heart, vision, and integrity
