About Us:

Clydach Construction Limited (Clydach) is a small but growing construction and maintenance company based in South Wales. We specialise in general building works, reactive maintenance, and bathroom/shower installations for both residential and commercial clients.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a time-served, multi-skilled Bathroom/Shower Installer with a strong background in domestic and/or commercial installations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, take initiative, and be fully accountable for the completion and quality of works.

You must be comfortable working from drawings and measurements, and able to adapt to varying site conditions. You will take full ownership of installations from start to finish, ensuring the job is completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with Health & Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install bathrooms, shower enclosures, wet rooms and associated fittings to a high standard Read and work from technical drawings and scopes of work Adapt installations based on on-site measurements and challenges Carry out tiling, basic plumbing, joinery, and finishing works Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety procedures Maintain clear communication with clients and internal team Report any issues, variations or risks to the office promptly Keep work areas clean and safe, and complete installations with minimal disruption Represent Clydach in a professional and courteous manner at all times

Requirements:

Proven experience as a bathroom/shower installer or general building operative Experience in social housing or reactive maintenance environments Multi-skilled across plumbing, joinery, tiling, and finishing trades Initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work unsupervised Must take responsibility and ownership of each project Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Knowledge of current Health & Safety practices on-site Ability to interpret scopes of work and make adjustments as needed Full UK driving licence Access to your own vehicle Own core tools and equipment Must have the legal right to work in the UK

Desirable:

CSCS card or equivalent Basic electrical awareness (not essential)
