About The Role

We are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our engineering team at our factory in Barton. The candidate will work from Monday to Friday,14:30 - 23:00.

Main Responsibilities:

To carry out planned and reactive maintenance Providing rapid response to breakdown's when required Fault finding including PLC, trouble shooting, repairing and maintaining equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time Perform high quality root-cause analysis for technical and process problems Support, suggest and implement improvements (Safety, Technology, Process) Utilise the CMMS system to record all works (ShireSystem) To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can-do attitude.

About You

Desired skills & knowledge:

Time served engineer with NVQ level 3 (Electrical). Experience in a similar engineering function and in industrial environment. Understanding of PLC Systems. An ability to work well under pressure. Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent technical skills and knowledge. To think on your own initiative. Continuous improvement attitude
