Job Description

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, your role will include ensuring all Engineering day-to-day activities are completed effectively, efficiently and safely on site, supporting the Engineering Manager. To facilitate Production with reactionary and planned preventative maintenance.

Main responsibilities


Effectively communicating with colleagues and other departments Meeting targets and maintaining key performance indicators Attending breakdowns, ensuring downtime is monitored and recorded for improvement purposes Delivering prompt engineering solutions Ensuring planned preventative maintenance and remedial work are completed in a timely manner Supporting Production requirements Continuously improve safety and performance Reporting to the Engineering Manager any unplanned downtime and issues impacting service Ensuring all department checks e.g. emergency lights, PAT, emergency stop checks are carried out in a timely manner
Our ideal candidate will have the following


C&G/ONC/HNC Electrical or Mechanical qualification Mechanical bias with good practical knowledge of electrical and hydraulic maintenance Experience within a similar working environment Works well within a team Excellent communication sills Clear understanding of Health and Safety Good time management to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on time IOSH Managing Safely certificate Understanding of COSHH

Overtime is paid at 1.5x basic rate!
