ESG Drysdales are recruiting for a multi-skilled engineer to join our existing factory team at our main packhouse in the Scottish Borders.

ESG Drysdale are one of the UK's largest grower and processer of fresh vegetables such as sprouts, leeks and swede.

About the Job

4 on 4 off working schedule. Shift time - 06:00-18:00 Hourly rate starting from 19.40 per hour, increasing with completion of in-house training and development programme up to 22.90 per hour. Overtime paid at time and a half. Weekly pay each Friday. 236.5 hours holiday per year.

The Applicant

Ideally a fully qualified multiskilled engineer with predominantly electrical knowledge, not necessary. Completed 18th edition electrical qualification. Proactive problem solver Own transport Keen to learn with a 'can do' attitude.

The Role

In this role you will be responsible for reactive and planned preventative maintenance of the machinery in the factory as part of the existing engineering team.

You will need to contribute to ongoing improvement plans as well as project and installation works.

This is a multiskilled role that will involve mechanical & electrical fault finding and working on a wide range of food washing, grading and packing equipment.
