As a Multi-skilled Forklift Driver in the Despatch department, your role will include ensuring all forklift truck movements and Packaging & Despatch activities are completed effectively, efficiently and safely.

Main responsibilities


Ensuring forklift truck and barrow checks are completed Performing all forklift duties effectively, efficiently and safely within the allocated department Picking orders in correct date sequence to ensure correct stock rotation Using the ERP system (Microsoft Navision) to pick correct load/trailer/haulier prior to scanning to vehicle Removing any damaged equipment/packaging from site when required Maintaining accurate records at all times Supporting Production requirements Unloading packaging safely and storing in the correct location Monitor packaging deliveries to ensure free from contamination Ensuring effective communication at all times
Our ideal candidate will have the following


Experience within a similar role in a manufacturing environment Excellent organisation and communication skills Team player Clear understanding of Health and Safety Computer literate in all Microsoft applications Analytical approach Self-motivated Flexible Valid Forklift licence to AITT, ITSSAR or RTITB standard is essential
