who will also assist as a

Porter

when required.

The Role:

This is a varied role that combines warehouse duties with customer-facing removal work. You will primarily be responsible for operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload, and move goods within our warehouse. On days where forklift work is not required, you will support our removals team with house moves, assisting in the careful packing, lifting, and transportation of household items.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload vehicles. Organise, move, and store goods within the warehouse. Assist removal teams with domestic and commercial moves. Carefully handle furniture, household items, and other goods during moves. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional manner at all times. Follow health & safety procedures and company guidelines.

Requirements:

A valid counterbalance forklift license. Previous experience as a forklift driver. Good level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift and carry heavy items. Flexible, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team. Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. Previous experience in removals (desirable but not essential).
