Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Pharmaceutical
Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Shift: Monday to Friday - Days
Rate: 33p/h - 35p/h (Outside IR35)
Location: Duxford
We are looking for a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer & Operator to support a pilot pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety, combining machinery operation, maintenance, and involvement in new equipment and process development within a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate pilot plant machinery for powder production and packaging
Carry out routine and preventative maintenance to ensure safe operation
Fault-find and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Support testing and commissioning of new equipment and processes
Maintain accurate records in line with GMP and regulatory standards

Requirements:

Multi-skilled engineer with mechanical and electrical maintenance experience
Background in pharmaceutical manufacturing
Hands-on experience with pharmaceutical production machinery
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance
Able to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Flexible and adaptable when supporting new processes and trials
