Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Engineer to maintain and install equipment across a factory environment, including conveyors, labelers, scales, and process machinery. Responsibilities will include routine inspections, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), prompt fault diagnosis and repairs, machinery adjustments, and changeovers. The role demands close coordination with departments to minimize downtime, management of engineering documentation, and adherence to Food, Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Maintain and install electrical and mechanical equipment on the factory floor. Perform routine inspections and planned preventative maintenance. Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and execute effective repairs. Adjust machinery settings and conduct changeovers as needed. Manage engineering documentation and ensure smooth shift handovers. Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety standards. Collaborate across departments for smooth operations.
Requirements

Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems. Electrical qualification; knowledge of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is beneficial. Experience in process plants, fillers, packaging machinery, or factory settings preferred. Familiarity with HMI systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail, proactive approach, and good problem-solving skills. Immediate right to work in the UK; no visa sponsorship offered.
