Key Responsibilities:
Sales Counter Support
Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with product queries and purchases.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
Maintain product displays and ensure the sales area is tidy and well-stocked.
Warehousing
Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
Organize and store inventory in the warehouse.
Prepare orders for delivery or pickup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Delivery Driving
Safely operate company vehicles to deliver building materials to customers.
Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on time, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Conduct vehicle checks and maintain the cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
Requirements:
Experience in a builders merchant or similar environment is highly desirable.
Knowledge of building materials and products is a strong advantage.
A full, clean UK driving license is essential.
Strong customer service skills with a proactive and positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of power tool repair or a willingness to learn.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
