Multiskilled Operative - Property Maintenance & Construction
Flowing Construction Services Ltd has an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a Multiskilled Operative. This hands-on role involves working across various property maintenance and construction projects, including residential repairs, refurbishments, and small-scale building works.
About the Role:
The successful candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate a combination of qualities including:
Proven experience in a multiskilled trade or property maintenance role (required)
Competence in a range of trades - e.g., carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plastering, painting & decorating (required)
CSCS card or relevant trade certifications (advantageous but not essential)
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
Ability to be flexible and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
A strong understanding of health & safety requirements on-site
Good organisational and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the role will include all aspects of multiskilled property maintenance and construction, including:
Carrying out a wide range of general maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, basic electrics, tiling, painting & decorating
Assisting with construction works such as groundwork, brickwork, and general building support
Responding to reactive maintenance requests and completing planned works to a high standard
Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with health and safety standards
Accurately maintaining job records and reporting on progress
Working both independently and collaboratively to deliver projects on time
