Associate Director (Shopfitting and Building Services)
Responsible for ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with agreed designs and working practices. All work should be in line with the necessary Health and Safety requirements, completed to the required quality and within the required timeframe.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, repairs and installations in various trades, including but not limited to carpentry, painting and general building maintenance.
Conduct routine inspections and identify areas needing repair or improvement.
Respond promptly to company requests, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Ensure compliance with all aspects of health and safety including compliance with current legislation and W.G. Silverton health and safety policy and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Use of own van preferred, however, Company van can be provided.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job, completing job sheets and site audit reports.
Experience of working to a schedule of rates an advantage.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
Complete required company training.
Maintain company property to the highest standard.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a multi-trade operative or similar role.
Relevant certifications in trades such as plumbing, carpentry, decorating.
PASMA (or a willingness to complete the course).
IPAF (or a willingness to complete the course).
CSCS card holder.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Full driving licence.
