As the company continues to expand, we're looking for an experienced and motivated
Multi-Skilled Working Foreman
to take a leading role on site - combining hands-on construction skills with site coordination, quality control, and team leadership.

The Role:
As a
Multi-Skilled Working Foreman
, you'll lead by example on site - ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You'll combine practical trade skills with strong organisation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Day-to-day duties will vary depending on the project and your skillset, but will typically include:
Bricklaying & Blockwork
Internal & External Plastering/Rendering
Groundworks & External Works
1st & 2nd Fix Carpentry
Setting out and interpreting construction drawings/specifications
Operating Plant & Machinery
Structural Alterations
Manual labour & handling of materials
Quality, Health & Safety
Maintain high standards of workmanship and finish.
Set out works accurately and check levels and dimensions.
Enforce site health & safety rules and ensure RAMS are followed.
Conduct daily checks and toolbox talks.
Report incidents, near misses, and quality issues promptly.
Maintain good site housekeeping and environmental controls/waste management.
Supervision & Coordination
Lead and coordinate small site teams and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Plan daily tasks, making sure labour, plant, and materials are in place when needed.
Work closely with the Site Manager, Directors, office team, and suppliers to ensure good communication and smooth project delivery.
Oversee site setup and demobilisation, ensuring welfare and storage areas are properly organised and maintained.
Allocate tasks to team members appropriately and ensure everyone is working efficiently and productively.
Reporting & Record Keeping
Maintain a daily site record using the company calendar - noting labour, site progress, weather conditions, and deliveries.
Monitor and track materials, reporting any shortages or delays promptly to the Site Manager.
Record plant and equipment condition, including maintenance required, and any defects.
Provide regular updates to the Site Manager on site progress, issues, and upcoming requirements.
Capture site progress photos to support project records and quality assurance.
You should take pride in your work, be reliable and adaptable, and have a good eye for detail. Producing quality work with a high standard of finish is essential.
Requirements:
Minimum
5-10 years' experience
in the construction industry.
Skilled in one or more key trades --
bricklaying, carpentry, plastering, or groundworks
.
Confident in
interpreting and working from construction drawings and specifications
.
Experience
leading or coordinating small site teams or subcontractors
.
Good understanding of
health & safety
requirements on site.
Competent in using
plant & machinery
.
Own tools and transport
(A company vehicle may be provided for the right candidate)
Hold a valid
CSCS card
(or be willing to obtain one).
Full UK driving licence
and willingness to travel between sites as required.
Salary to be negotiated and dependent on experience
