Job Description

Due to a recent restructure within the Property Care team, we are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative with expertise in Carpentry, Plumbing, and Plastering. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and refurbishment duties, with a particular focus on delivering high-quality Carpentry, Plumbing, Plastering, and general building work. A "right first-time" approach and attention to detail are essential to ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Within this role your main responsibilities will include:

Completing Multitrade such as carpentry, plumbing, plastering to a high standard. Planning, organising, and delivering excellent quality works. Working across the Property Care team. Achieving excellent customer satisfaction. Using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) or tablet device to record job information. Ensuring that works are completed to schedule and to budget expectations. Meeting productivity targets showing commercial awareness and aptitude in your approach to work. Ensuring that van stocks, materials, plant, and equipment are used correctly and safely, protected from loss or theft and are maintained in accordance with health and safety guidelines. Participation on an Out of Hours on-call rota

Our ideal candidate will:

Be a level 2 qualified tradesperson with extensive experience. Have experience of working within social housing/residential properties. Be a skilled communicator who understands the importance of being customer focused. Hold a full UK driving licence. Be computer literate. Be highly organised and capable of planning and prioritising their workload.
