Job Summary

Aquamain currently have a vacancy for an experienced Mutli-Utiliy Construction Team Operative, to be based in the Mendip area, Frome, Shepton Mallet or surrounding areas.

The successful applicant will work as a 2-man Construction Team and will travel to various sites, predominately in the Southwest and South Wales, to install water mains & services, and install LV/HV Cable, including Off-site Civils works.

This is a full-time position - salary is competitive but will be dependent on experience and qualifications.

You may be required to stay away on occasion when accommodation/meals and overnight allowance will be provided.

Requirements:

Have a legal right to work in the UK

Full Driving Licence

Have experience in similar utility role

Cable laying - LV & HV

SHEA Power

Cable laying/jointing experience

Winching and cable drum experience

EUSR - Grundowinch Tracto-Technik UK

Water Main & Service laying

National Water Hygiene

SHEA Water

NCO level 2 mains and/or service laying

Safe control of Mains Connection (SCMC)

Butt fusion and electrofusion experience

Civils -

Offsite

NRSWA/Street works Supervisor

NPORS/CPCS excavator/dumper

Abrasive Wheels

Excavation and re-instatement experience

Duct laying

Pay: From 28,571.50 per year
