Our Free Music & Instrument Training Programme provides fully funded music education to children with limited access to resources.
Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and organised
Music Programme Coordinator
to support the smooth running of our free musical training sessions. This unpaid placement is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about youth development, music, and community engagement.
You will work closely with instructors, volunteers, and families to ensure sessions run safely, efficiently, and with a positive learning environment for all participants.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate Friday and Saturday music training sessions
Support instructors and ensure classes start and finish smoothly
Welcome and check in children, parents, and visitors
Assist with organising learning materials, instruments, and equipment
Help manage attendance records, forms, and general administrative tasks
Serve as a point of contact for parents, volunteers, and partners
Assist with community outreach and programme promotion
Support social media storytelling and content gathering during sessions
Ensure safeguarding and organisational policies are followed
Skills & Requirements
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to engage positively with children, parents, and volunteers
Confident using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and digital tools
Familiarity with social media management (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
Ability to multitask and work independently
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
Interest in music or youth development (experience not required)
