Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Dance Teacher / Choreographer to join our creative team on Saturdays in our founding Aylesbury school. You'll play a key role in shaping the dance training across our school and performance teams - with exciting opportunities including choreography for full-scale musicals, variety shows, and elite performances at prestigious venues (including a Broadway appearance in 2026!).

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver engaging and challenging dance lessons for students aged 3-18. Deliver fun, high-quality, and challenging dance lessons for ages 3-18 Foster a positive classroom culture where all students feel supported and encouraged Choreograph and rehearse numbers for live shows and productions Provide clear, constructive feedback to help students grow in technique and performance Collaborate with our creative teaching team to deliver exceptional, professional-standard work Lead choreography for:
2 major productions per year (1 variety showcase & 1 full-scale musical)

Elite performance teams, including national events and international appearances

Support pupils in preparing for external opportunities and theatre industry exposure

Requirements

Proven experience teaching dance and choreographing full-scale shows Strong technical knowledge across multiple styles (particularly musical theatre) A confident, dynamic presence with excellent communication skills A genuine passion for mentoring and inspiring young performers Ability to adapt to students' varying abilities and learning styles Enhanced DBS

Pay: 25.00-30.00 per hour
