Job Description

A busy family in Southwark, London is looking for a Full-time Nanny to assist them in looking after their school-aged child. An ideal candidate will be someone who enjoys engaging with children and creating opportunities for fun and social development. They are looking for someone quite energetic, bubbly, proactive, positive attitude and also able to teach manners, help with homework, and fun. Someone who could speak French, Hindi, Mandarin or Spanish languages would be a bonus but they can consider English-speakers.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday; split shift from 7:00 am to 9:00 am then 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm, approximately 32.5 hours per week
Duties include:

• Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children
• Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children
• Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
• Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• Providing homework assistance and supporting the children's educational growth
• Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
• Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
• Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
• Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
• Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
• Making beds and replacing linens as needed
• Cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children
