Summary



We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven and dynamic National Account Manager to join our small team in Birdham near Chichester, or in Chapeltown, near Sheffield.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving our sales growth and enhancing customer relationships. You will be responsible for the account management of all sales through your accounts to ensure budget targets are met, and that we are delivering an extraordinary service to our customer.

Main responsibilities



Ownership and management of the commercial strategies and goals for your customers. Ensure your accounts continue to grow by reaching sales targets identified, conducting business reviews and analysis regularly, upselling products. Identify opportunities for new listings, range extensions and work with NPD and Technical. Lead customer meetings to sell and negotiate new product listings. Customer administration for your accounts. Develop commercial propositions, using our pre-defined profit and loss templates, to ensure that proposals are commercially viable. Ensuring monthly product forecasts for your sector is completed and working closely with production Data management for accounts, including sharing data updates out to the business for key accounts.

Experience required:



Previous experience with managing FMCG brands Experience with negotiating Strong commercial acumen and excellent planning and forecasting skills Experience of being an in-plant in an FMCG business to develop and align business needs Experience at S&OP forecasting and planning and must be able to pull together complex spreadsheets which will drive production plans on site

Extraordinary communication skills - verbal and written A natural flair and ability for influencing and negotiation Commercially numerate with a full understanding of profit and loss accounting and the influence of operating factors Excellent organisation skills and able to prioritise Excellent at planning/forecasting as you will manage the full Demand Planning Requirement Genuine passion, positive energy and drive to inspire everyone around you and take people on the journey A self-starter, and someone who can take the initiative when required Good listener and someone will challenge constructively and respond well to feedback The ability to be flexible, as there will be significant travel to customers in the UK
