National Corporate Account Manager - Utilities




Location:

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, which involves a combination of working field-based, visiting customer sites/our offices, and also remotely.

The Opportunity





As a

National Corporate Account Manager (NCAM)

, you'll be the strategic lead for a portfolio of high-value customers within the

Utilities Industries

. Your mission? To grow RS's share of wallet year-on-year by deeply understanding your customers' challenges and aligning our solutions to help them thrive.



This is a

consultative sales role

that requires a deep understanding of customer operations, change management, and value-based selling. You'll be the face of RS to your accounts -- and the voice of your customers within RS.




What You'll Do




Own and grow a portfolio of national corporate accounts across the UK & Ireland. Build deep, strategic relationships with key stakeholders in the Utilities industries. Identify customer pain points and align RS's full suite of MRO solutions to deliver measurable value. Lead cross-functional collaboration across the wider RS sales organisation to deliver a seamless customer experience. Use

Salesforce

to manage pipeline and

Power BI

to identify trends, opportunities, and performance insights. Drive customer retention, revenue growth, and gross margin improvement. Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to your customers and internal teams.






What You'll Bring




Established background experience of B2B sales or account management experience. Experience in

Utilities,

Regulated Industries,

or

MRO

is desirable. A consultative, customer-first mindset with a passion for solving complex problems. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate long sales cycles. A collaborative, professional approach with the ability to lead without direct authority. Self-motivation, resilience, and a values-driven mindset.
